Recently, the 24-year-old designed her new tennis racket in collaboration with her sister, Mari Osaka. She gifted one of them to the American designer, Kelly Wearstler. Subsequently, she thanked Osaka for the wonderful present.

Naomi Osaka gifts Yonex tennis racket to Kelly Wearstler

Kelly Wearstler took to Instagram to express gratitude to Osaka for gifting her the tennis racket. She said, “LOVE GAME. Big thank you to @naomiosaka for this stunning new @yonex_com racquet and bag designed by the incredible player and her artist sister @mari.osaka who she collaborated with.”

Further, she added, “Tennis brings me such enjoyment as I continue to challenge myself and level-up my skills on the court. Naomi is quite an inspiration.”

Earlier, Osaka had also gifted this latest edition of the Yonex racket to Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle.

Who will Osaka face at the 2022 US Open?

The Japanese star’s path at the upcoming US Open isn’t an easy one. She will take on the 19th seed, Danielle Collins of the United States, in the first round of the tournament.
