Martina Navratilova has had a hectic life. From dealing with three cancer diagnoses to leaving her country to pursue her dreams, the 9-time Wimbledon champ has faced her fair share of struggles. Unsurprisingly, now that she has overcome such challenges, the Czech-American legend is enjoying her time with her family. She recently went on a vacation with her wife, Julia Lemigova. The two were also accompanied by their puppy, who seemed to be having a great time with the two.

Navratilova was on the commentary team for Wimbledon. Now, after the tournament, the 59-time Grand Slam champion decided to kick back by going on a vacation with her wife.

After their emotional reunion in the men’s Wimbledon final, Navratilova and Lemigova decided to blow off some steam and travel before they get back to the grind. As the couple enjoyed their time together in France, they were joined by their pet dog, Lulu. While the couple had fun, Lulu probably enjoyed it more than her parents.

As pictures of their vacation went viral on social media, Navratilova also shared a picture of her dog. On Twitter, she shared a picture of herself holding her doggie in her arms. She added a caption to the picture which read, “I think Lulu enjoyed our dinner:)“. The picture gained much traction as a user left a comment stating Lulu looked rather content. 

Replying to the comment, Navratilova explained how they pamper her. She said “Of course she is:), gets carried when she doesn’t want to walk, goes everywhere, gets plenty of food and sleep. I mean!!!!“

The picture was taken when the two were by the beach for dinner. The former number 1 would be remiss to not share a picture of the view.

59-time grand slam champion shows the scenic beauty of France

While in Paris for a much-needed vacation, the Czech-American legend and the former Russian model wife decided to relax by the beach. The two had dinner together, which further prompted Navratilova to share a picture of the scenic beauty of the shore. The couple is going strong even after Navratilova’s worrying diagnosis of cancer.
