Tennis queen Serena Williams has replicated her on-court success in the business world as well. Her portfolio now includes jewelry, fashion, investments, countless endorsements, and much more in addition to her illustrious tennis career.

Most recently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion resumed her collaboration with American luggage brand Away. In doing so, she introduced their new collection of travel bags and essentials.

“Travel has always been ingrained in my identity, both professionally and personally, which is why I am so excited to continue my partnership with Away,” Serena said.

The American professional also decided to surprise her close friend, Vanessa Bryant, with their exclusive bags.

Serena Williams, 39, puts her heart and soul in everything she commits to, be it tennis or business. On her collaboration with Away, the American claimed that while the collaborative process was rewarding, the new collection also met her travel needs.

“I’m thrilled to share a collection that speaks to the new realities of travel and highlights my personal take on design and functionality, all with the hope that it can get people excited for the future,” Serena said.

Serena even gifted the bags to Vanessa Bryant, wife of the late Kobe Bryant. Later on, Vanessa took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the kind present.

Serena even included a personalized message with the bags, and Vanessa responded with a ‘Thank You’ and a heart emoticon.

Undoubtedly, this new collection is on its way to becoming the trendsetter in the industry.

Where will Serena travel to next on her tennis tour?

After losing to Naomi Osaka in the Australian Open 2021 semifinals, Serena broke down in tears because her 24th Grand Slam title dream had slipped out of her hand once again.

Furthermore, Serena even confessed that the burden of achieving this feat was different from all the others. However, the 23-time Grand Slam champion will continue her quest ahead in the season.

But before she prepares for the French Open, she will probably participate in the upcoming Miami Open 2021. Since it’s a 1000 points event, the title could bring a decent boost to her confidence.
