Apart from being a tennis player, Williams is also a successful capital investor and a mother to her four-year-old daughter, Olympia.

With all three roles demanding constant attention, it is needless to say that it requires the utmost skill to manage a life similar to that of Williams. However, known for her never give up attitude, the 23-time Grand Slam champion has made sure to justify all of her roles with utmost grace. Heading for the North American hardcourt swing, Serena Williams recently opened up about how she manages the other two roles to be able to spend more time with her daughter, Olympia.

Serena Williams opens up about dividing her day into different roles

With the first-round Wimbledon loss, Serena Williams is taking every possible step to avenge it at the US Open. Taking some time off from her training schedule, the former World No. 1 recently indulged in a conversation with a media house. During the conversation, she opened up her schedule for the day during tournaments.

“Now when I prepare for a tournament, I practice in the morning, I take VC calls in the afternoon and then I spend time with Olympia…” she said. “…that didn’t happen five years ago,” she further added.

The American legend is currently in her home country, making some final touches before she heads for the Rogers Cup in Toronto. Giving a sneak peek into one of her recent practice days, she admitted having trained in the morning, followed by working for Serena Ventures and spending the rest of the day with Olympia.

Serena looked comfortable taking up all three roles throughout the day. However, it didn’t stop her from drawing comparisons from a time not long ago.  “I can’t imagine having this conversation with you a little while ago and saying that this is what my life looks like,” she ended.

Serena takes time off to spend time with family

As mentioned earlier, Serena’s life revolves around her three roles. However, that hasn’t stopped her from making sure to prioritize her family. Following the first-round loss at Wimbledon Championships, Serena took some time off the court to have a family vacation. With daughter Olympia and husband Alexis Ohanian by her side, the three headed out to Greece.

Being two of the most active social media entities, Serena and Alexis made sure to give regular updates to her fans. Taking to their social media handles, the two posted regular updates about their pleasant family vacation. Needless to say, the family had a good time.
