Talking about her investments through this firm, Serena said, “Our fund really impacts lives and companies in everyday life. So, what we try to invest in is companies that are really impacting everyday lives of everyday people. So that, kind of really broadens our spectrum of who we invest in. Also, it narrows down on who we do not invest in.” While Venus Williams fought against gender inequality in tennis, Serena hopes to invest in women and diversity through her Venture Capital firm.
