Is another theater rent out on the cards?
In 2018, Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams hosted a one-of-a-kind ‘Black Panther’ screening. At the time, the couple invited the ‘Black Girls Code’ girls for the private screening of the box office blockbuster. Earlier this year, Ohanian indicated via a tweet that he would do the same thing yet again for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’.
From Ohanian’s reaction to the trailer of ‘The Color Purple’ remake, it seems like he is quite excited about it. So, there may very well be another private screening on the cards. While only time will tell if that happens or not, one thing’s clear – Ohanian wants the movie to finally get its due reward.
