The 18-time grand slam champion is an inspiration to many, but she doesn’t receive the same love and affection on social media. She recently took to her social media account to give a witty reply to all her haters. 

The American tennis star had a glorifying career and is considered one of the best tennis players in the history of the sport. She, along with Billie Jean King, and Martina Navratilova, placed the pillars for women’s tennis. However, she is also an outspoken sports person who doesn’t like to hide her thoughts.

Chris Evert responds to Azarenka’s witty statement

The two-time grand slam champion recently posted a tweet for her haters concerning a question about writing negative comments rather than just unfollowing the sports person as a personal comfort choice. This is one of the general issues that is faced by almost every athlete. 

Even the American player agreed with the issue and gave a head-up to all her social media haters. She wrote, “That’s a great question.” while reposting Azarenka‘s comment. Chris Evert, even after her retirement, has faced a lot of criticism online and always stood strong in front of them.

Evert has a memorable record on clay courts. She has the highest number of French Open titles won by any player on the women’s tour. In her time, she has won seven French Open championships. Similar to Serena Williams, she has also won six US Open tournaments.
