Further, apart from ruling the courts alongside her sister, she built a business empire. The seven-time Grand Slam champion’s success in the business world is exemplary and inspiring.

 She has all the qualities it takes to become a role model in the sector, except for one that is negotiation. Yes, the lady who made Wimbledon mend its rules and pay equal prize money can’t negotiate.

Williams in a recent interview shared how her negotiation isn’t one of the many skills she harbors. “That’s my worst skill,” the former World no.1 chuckled and confessed.

Thereafter, she added. “I’m not good at asking for things, and I don’t know if I ever will be. I haven’t done the work to gain confidence in that area, mostly because I’ve passed it on to other people so often.” Williams is a wise businesswoman with a futuristic approach. She looks for people, who can work “hand in hand, and not just be told what to do.”

Venus has a net worth of around 95 million dollars and is the owner of the famous clothing brand EleVen by Venus Williams. Also, she owns an award-winning Florida-based interior design company, V Starr. The organization which stands tall at a valuation of around 60 million dollars provides commercial designs with a focus on hospitality.

The 42-year-old made a comeback through the mixed doubles of the Wimbledon Championships this season. Williams, who walked out of the circuit around the grass majors last year, failed to live up to the fans’ expectations. Though she made up to the quarterfinals of Wimbledon alongside Jamie Murray, she is still to win herself a singles match.
