Serena Williams has attained tremendous success in her life. Early in her tennis career, she strived hard to master the sport. The hard work paid off as she has gone on to become one of the greatest players in tennis. While we are all aware of her exploits in tennis, Serena has been successful off the court as well.
The younger Williams sister is the founder of many business ventures like Serena Ventures and S by Serena. Recently, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, had a wonderful surprise for the tennis legend.

Serena Williams’ husband creates a custom NFT artwork
The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to announce the creation of the digital artwork involving Serena and his daughter, Olympia. He said, “I commissioned the incredible @AmandaRantsAlot to create this custom NFT artwork of Serena & Olympia for them. The first ever from @zestworldcomics new digital commissions tool. Now we’re creating comics in Web3.”

Last month, Serena announced her singles comeback at the Wimbledon Championships 2022. The 23-time Grand Slam champion received a wildcard entry to participate in the grass-court Grand Slam tournament.

It was her first singles match since her first-round retirement at last year’s Wimbledon after suffering a hamstring injury. However, her comeback was short-lived as she went down fighting against France’s Harmony Tan in the opening round.

Serena intends to play at the 2022 US Open
After her Wimbledon first-round defeat, the former World Number 1 wore a dejected look in her possibly last match at the tournament. However, she revealed about playing at the US Open later this year. Talking about this, Serena said, “There’s definitely lots of motivation to get better and to play at home.”

Meanwhile, Serena is set to move out of the WTA rankings after Wimbledon. She’ll lose all her ranking points as a result of her injury absence and ranking points being not available at this year’s Wimbledon.
