Speaking about the same, Ohanian said, “Every single time someone buys the jersey, shows up or tweets about the match, they know they’re pushing something much, much bigger. I’ve learned a lot about online communities over the years—it’s the power of this, all the energy that’s sort of been bottled up for so long. I just love seeing it going in such a positive place. The women deserve this.”

Being with Serena for a long time, the 39-year-old has a first-hand experience with women’s sports. Although the Reddit cofounder claimed that he was least interested in sports before meeting Serena, his marriage with the tennis legend has ignited a spark of sports enthusiasm for him.

Ohanian is a big fan of women’s sports now. Back in 2019, he came up with an appreciation post for the US Women’s football team. The ladies won their fourth consecutive world cup title and Ohanian proudly wrote about it on Twitter.
