In an interview with the Guardian, back in 2015, the American actress opened up about the biggest women influence in her life. She named her grandmother and stated, “She was the mother of three before she was allowed to vote. There was no smarter person, but she couldn’t vote.”

Talking about people who have grown up in that generation with a conventional mindset, she threw some light before finally giving an example of Serena Williams.
