The iconic American actress has secured three Oscars over the course of her legendary career. Along with that, she also hailed the skills of other iconic women like her. And one of them is Serena Williams.

In an interview with the Guardian, back in 2015, the American actress opened up about the biggest women influence in her life. She named her grandmother and stated, “She was the mother of three before she was allowed to vote. There was no smarter person, but she couldn’t vote.”

Talking about people who have grown up in that generation with a conventional mindset, she threw some light before finally giving an example of Serena Williams. She stated, “People who shake it off and realize that we are all human beings and equal – it doesn’t mean you all have the same upper body strength, because there isn’t a man in this audience who could out-lift Serena Williams.”
