Former US Open Champion Sloane Stephens has made her way through to the second round of the Brisbane International Tournament and has had a great start to the year. She played against Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic and earned a hard-fought victory over her. To which she responded, “There’s always something wrong with me, but I’m getting older. I just put off some health things, and I was able to go home and focus on it and focus on myself and try to get my body in the best shape possible and try to get my mental in the best place possible to be able to come out and play a full season and try to stay healthy. I just tried to put everything in place so that I could make that happen for myself this season and see where that gets me.”
