As Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams are gearing up to welcome their second baby, they are not forgetting about Olympia. The couple is going through a major phase of their lives where Olympia is going to get a new sibling soon. However, at the same time, Olympia too is also going through a crucial phase of her life. She is learning how to read and write and this seems to be bringing a sense of joy to her father.

But along with that, Ohanian has found an innovative way to let Olympia know that no matter what he is doing, she is his priority. The fun activity has started to become a new custom in the Williams-Ohanian household.

As Olympia is growing she is taking up new interests like soccer, golf, baking, etc. However, Ohanian is making sure that she also gets down to the basics and learns things that are crucial. So, reading and writing have eventually come into the picture. But to make it more interesting and less boring, Ohanian has gotten a bit creative with it. Being a successful businessman, Ohanian needs to devote his time to his professional life too. But he makes sure Olympia knows he is always thinking about her.

In an interview with The People, he stated, “It’s been one of the best parts of her learning to read. I get to surprise and delight her with some fun notes.” As usual, Ohanian is proud of every little achievement of Olympia. He added, “Seeing her develop is so rewarding.” Ohanian talked about how she has improved impressively day by day.

He said, “You go from stringing together some letters, then you start doing some phonics. It’s been really awesome seeing her just continue to level up.” Consequently, his idea of leaving notes has proved fruitful. He stated, “The notes get more fun too because I can write more and make it a little bit more interesting.”

Apart from making things interesting, he also wishes to let his daughter know that she matters above everything else.

Alexis Ohanian puts Olympia over everyone else

The Reddit co-founder has taken Olympia on her first hike. He introduced her to British tea traditions. He also taught her how to make pancakes. So, every little achievement by his daughter means the world to him.

And he does it all to make her realize that she takes the first place in his life. He added, “I want her to really feel, not just to know, but to really feel that in some way I’m thinking about her every day, and these are fun little surprises that she seems to enjoy.
