The real toasts of the night were the scientists, such as Drew Weissman and Katalin Kariko, who successfully developed an mRNA vaccine against COVID. In addition, with their fundamental work, attendees greeted both scientists with standing ovations as the event honored them with the Breakthrough Prize in Life Science for 2022.

The Russian has several other items to tick from her bucket list and one of them is to appear in a Hollywood feature. In her past interviews, Sharapova revealed her desire to be a part of a Hollywood film. She said, “Right now, too many things are happening in life. I’m tied up with my matches, brand associations, and several other commitments. But someday, given an opportunity, I would love to act in a Hollywood movie.”

She has earmarked her presence in Hollywood by appearing in front of a camera when she appeared in a docuseries.

Sharapova made a screen appearance in the Netflix docuseries

Being a new mom with a baby son, Sharapova shared her trip to Los Angeles. Being a daydreamer of Hollywood, she loves to visit L.A. and flaunt her enthusiasm for the city. The former world number one made her screen appearance in the Netflix series ‘Break Point’, which was released in January this year.

In the series, we see her having a conversation about athletes’ emotions after losing important matches. Moreover, she described the inside-out emotions of athletes when fans are upset because of their losses. She was among the notable star who just made a brief appearance in the docuseries.
