Olivia Wozniacki Lee- like mother, like daughter. She is the 2-year-old daughter of Danish professional tennis player, Caroline Wozniacki. The senior Wozniacki is having a wonderful time off the court with her two children and husband David Lee, who is a retired former NBA All-Star. She never fails to share the beautiful moments of her family with her fans on social media.

There have been several ups and downs in her life, both on and off the field. But she’s always been a competitor and has always faced every situation with a smile on her face. She loves to connect with her fans and this is the reason why fans love her so much. Recently, she was invited to a podcast of Game Changers, where she confessed something heartfelt about little Olivia.

Caroline Wozniacki has achieved a lot in her career and has been number one for almost 71 weeks. She was at the peak of her career winning Australian Open in 2018 but her run came to an abrupt ending. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and had to retire in 2020. The 33-year-old then took a break and focused on starting a family. But she’s a fighter, and a return was almost imminent.

During the podcast, she went on to share how competitive she has been throughout her childhood. Now she has found the same character in her 2-year-old daughter. Here’s what she says, “I’ve always been competitive, whether that was in school or whether that was playing cards. With, you know, with the family, whatever it was, I was wanting to be the best or win and find a way to win.

Then she went on to add, “It’s funny because I see that same drive and my two-year-old daughter, she’s exactly the same this is gonna be fun to follow her and see what she does with it.

Olivia is lucky to have parents who have achieved so much in their respective courts. Having gotten the approval of her mindset from her proud mama, she now needs to get accustomed to the limelight. Let us now deep dive into the story of a super-mama.

The journey of Wozniacki outside the court

Caroline Wozniacki’s career took off at the age of 15. Then she went on to become the first Dane to win a major singles title. She is the first Scandinavian to hold the top position in tennis. Her fighting mentality which is quite vital for every sportsperson is perhaps inherited from her parents. Her mother represented Poland’s national volleyball team whereas his father was a professional footballer. Sports runs in her blood, even her older brother is a former professional footballer. Now, David Lee joins that list. Who will be the next?

The couple got married on 15 June 2019 at a luxury resort in Tuscany. She gave birth to their first child, Olivia on 11 June 2021 and her second James a year later. Now, it’ll be interesting to see who takes basketball and who takes tennis. Having returned to professional tennis, it would be a mammoth task to play and manage two children at the same time.
