Sloane Stephens is one player who has a lot of buzz around her life. Stephens burst into the limelight after winning the US Open in 2017. However, post the title victory, her performance hasn’t been on par. This year, her performance has fallen even further, but the player has not given up on a comeback. For now, Stephens has decided to take a break after her Wimbledon stint. She recently shared a glimpse of her beach vacation on her Instagram page.

Stephens was not alone during her vacation. She was joined by her husband, Jozy Altidore, and stepson Cameron. The family has been together since last year, with Stephens accepting her role wholeheartedly.

Sloane Stephens kicks back after Wimbledon

The American player participated in Wimbledon with all her gusto. She advanced from the first round with a fantastic score. However, she could not go past the second round as she lost to Donna Vekić. While it was a gutting defeat, Stephens is not letting it cloud her mind. The 2017 US Open champion is focusing on the next moment. After the grass slam, she will get ready to fight on her home turf and go big in New York.

But before she returns to grinding daily on the training grounds, the former WTA world number 3 is vacationing with her family. She posted several pictures of her time on a yacht, along with photos of her husband and the landscape as well. Stephens also added a caption to the post saying, “Still Kitty with the Vibe 😻“.

Stephens lives it up in a carnival

Eerily similar to her Wimbledon stint, Stephens was ousted from the Charleston Open in the second round by Victoria Azarenka. However, she did not let it dampen her spirit as she decided to have a ball of a time at the Xodus carnival. Not only did she attend the carnival, she decided to become a part of it as she donned a colorful bikini with shiny wings to be a prime part of the event.

While Stephens still receives criticism for not having a resurgence on the WTA Tour, she has stated many times that tennis is not the only part of her career. Even then, Stephens has put on great performances worthy of praise. Only her upcoming matches will show if she can play at the same level again.
