It was a great moment for her fans, after getting to watch Williams play after almost a year. The 40-year-old made a comeback at the Eastbourne International, playing doubles with Ons Jabeur. However, the duo had to withdraw before the semi-finals due to an injury to Jabeur.

Subsequently, the American legend received a wildcard to participate in Wimbledon Championships. However, her singles comeback didn’t go according to her plans. She went down fighting against Harmony Tan of France in the opening round. Nonetheless, Serena Williams is eager to put on a good show in the upcoming hard-court tournaments. Recently, she shared a glimpse of her training session.

Serena Williams is all smiles ahead of a hectic schedule

The 23-time Grand Slam champion took to Instagram to share glimpses of her fun training session. Posting a story on her official Instagram handle, Williams could be seen training with Mackenzie McDonald and Bradley Klahn. In the video, Williams can be heard saying, “This is hilarious. Get him, get him, get him… Oh, missed it. Next time.”?Further, she captioned the story, “Getting the business from @Bradleyklahn”?

The former world number one has a busy schedule in the month of August, where she will be playing in three big tournaments. Williams will open her hard-court campaign in Toronto, participating in the National Bank Open. Subsequently, she will play in the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati before the US Open later this month.

The American legend will be unseeded at the tournament this time around and has the possibility to face a top gun in the opening round. She will likely be challenged by world number one, Iga Swiatek, who is the top seed at the tournament.
