Martina Navratilova has established herself as one of the most physically resilient women tennis players in the history of tennis. And has stayed fit during the later years of her life as well.

She practiced and trained daily, even in her 40s. This gave her the ability to make a comeback at that age. The player commended the female player of the US Volleyball team for her stamina.

Martina Navratilova praises the US Volleyball team’s effort

Navratilova took to her Twitter to commend the form of the volleyball player. She stated, “Holy moly- this woman is in serious shape!!!!”

The female player did 26 touches of the ball giving her all to deviate the ball. Moreover, the team effort of the two players took a lot of her stamina and reflexes which she used to the best of her capability and ended up getting a point for the team.

The video of the player went viral on the internet and the effort of the player astounded people.

Fitness supplemented Navratilova’s glorious career

The tennis player herself is an epitome of keeping oneself on top of one’s form while being a part of any sports fraternity. The player won 18 grand slam singles titles in her glorious career.

Moreover, she won the mixed doubles championship at the US Open in 2006 when she was 49 years old. The left-handed player won nine Wimbledon titles out of which six were in a row.

She advocated her love for the grass-court major recently; Though Many players were apprehensive about playing for it as the WTA and ATP had stripped it off, of its ranking points.
