Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, is clearly obsessed with Disney. She even stated that one of her favorite animated characters was the ‘Little Mermaid’. Additionally, she married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in a glamorous Disney-themed wedding.

But it’s not just Serena who is obsessed with Disney. Previously, Alexis Ohanian revealed that their daughter is also fascinated by all things related to Disney.

Serena Williams’ daughter is enthralled by Disney characters

Alexis Ohanian previously stated that his little daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. was fascinated with Encanto and other Disney movie characters. Though, the American entrepreneur initially thought his family was no longer interested in Disney films.

He stated, “I really thought we were going to miss that trend. And then the songs started to invade, and then now it’s just on all the time,”

Olympia has previously visited the Disney World Resort in Orlando. She was at the Resort with her father Alexis Ohanian, who was showing her around and watching the fireworks.

Alexis even posted a photo of himself with his daughter. Ohanian was photographed with Olympia in his arms as they watched the brightly colored scene at Walt Disney World Resort. Serena Williams’ adorable obsession with Disney characters is clearly something that her little daughter Olympia has inherited from her.

Serena’s US Open campaign

Serena Williams, the 23-time grand slam champion, defeated Danka Kovinić of Montenegro to start off her US Open campaign. She then defeated the current World No.2, Anett Kontaveit, in the very next round. In the doubles event of the US Open, she competed alongside her sister, Venus. But in the competition’s first round, the William sisters were eliminated.

The American tennis player gave her best effort in the third round of the US Open, but couldn’t go past Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic. The 6-time US Open title winner was defeated 7-5 6-7(4) 6-1.

It’s expected that the US Open will be her last competition. After her final dance on the tennis court, Serena was overwhelmed with emotion. Many athletes and prominent figures paid tribute to the record Grand Slam winner in the Open Era. From Tiger Woods to Michelle Obama, public figures from different fields paid homage to the American tennis legend.
