The year 2021 was a sad one for the entire fashion industry. One of the most renowned fashion designers, Virgil Abloh, passed away shockingly. Abloh, who was 41 years old back then, had been privately fighting cardiac angiosarcoma. It is a cancer in the form of a tumor that affects the blood flow to and from the heart. American tennis legend, Serena Williams, was a close friend of his. Three years after his saddening death, Williams shared an emotional tribute for him.

The Paris Fashion Week is going on in full swing. Serena Williams attended the event, which saw many renowned personalities from across the globe. The renowned tennis legend was not going to miss an event tangentially dedicated to Abloh.

Ever since her retirement, the American legend has been actively taking part in non-tennis ventures, such as Paris Fashion Week. Off-White, a renowned fashion brand, had organized a show at the event, in which Williams was seen dazzling in a glamorous black outfit.

Off-White is a brand launched by the late Virgil Abloh in 2012. Williams is not alien to the brand, having collaborated with it for a Vogue cover in 2020. As a tribute to her late friend, Williams appeared on the show in a scintillating all-black outfit. The one-piece dress could only be described as bewitching with Williams raising the style quotient of the event.
