The former tennis player further revealed how sometimes coaches utilize strict actions to punish even the greatest athletes in the sporting community. He talked about Federer’s antics, “I disciplined him one time when he threw a racquet from the back of the court through some sponsors,” during this training session in Biel.

After witnessing his discourteous acts, Groeneveld said that he had to discipline Federer in his own way. Thus, they punished the 41-year-old tennis legend as he was told to clean the court for a period of ten days. They also asked Federer to assist the groundsman as a part of his disciplinary tasks.

Even the former tennis player, Sven Groeneveld, expressed his opinion on Mirka’s crucial role in the 41-year-old tennis legend’s remarkable achievements and grandeur. He said that Federer’s wife was on a “mission” as he talked about the unwavering support and role played by her. Mirka recognized his talent and skills from their meeting back in 2000.
