World No.4 Sofia Kenin recently parted ways with her father, Alex Kenin, who had been her coach for a long time. The pair went on to win the Australian Open 2020 title, and Kenin even ended as the runner-up of the French Open 2020. However, given her poor form in the 2021 season so far, Kenin has changed her coaching staff right ahead of Roland Garros 2021.

That’s why I decided that I had to part ways with my dad, but it’s not like in the future we’re not going to get back. We don’t know what’s going to happen. We’ll see,” said Kenin in the interview.
