Naomi Osaka returns to the court
After more than a month-long break, Naomi Osaka is finally on her way back to the court. She makes a long-due return after withdrawing from the sport, on the grounds of mental health. Her decision to take a break saw her miss out on the French Open and the 2021 Wimbledon Championship. Regardless, the Australian Open champion will soon make her debut at the all-important Summer Olympic Games.
Anxious fans will finally be at ease watching Naomi back in action. She will shortly after begin her US Open journey, making a first appearance in the Rogers Cup.
Regardless of being a debutant in both tournaments, Naomi is sure to win both hearts and accolades. She has constantly proven her caliber and displayed her elite character on and off the court. Fans will wait and see how far the 23-year-old goes in her quest for Olympic gold.
