Alexis Ohanian shows how simple his father is

Alexis Ohanian often speaks about his parents Chris and Anke Ohanian as well. Chris’ father and Alexis’ paternal grandfather came to the US after the Armenian Genocide, and Alexis’s Instagram bio proudly proclaims that he is the son of an undocumented immigrant.

Recently, Alexis shared an anecdote about his father. He recalled a time when he wanted to buy a Tesla for his father. Tesla, the automotive company founded by Elon Musk is known for its modern designs and features. But, turns out that the senior Ohanian wasn’t interested in buying a Tesla car, as it was too “futuristic” for him.

In the picture tweeted by Ohanian, the two of them are seen standing in front of a Mustang instead! This indicates that Ohanian’s father is poles apart from him who calls himself an ‘internet entrepreneur’ and is into all modern avenues of income and revenue, like cryptocurrencies.

Ohanian’s support for his wife

It’s not just his father that the co-founder of Reddit supports! He also supports his wife, in any given opportunity, wholeheartedly and with enthusiasm. He is often seen in the stands, while Serena Williams is playing, and is one of her loudest supporters. We might see him back in this role, given that Serena Williams has hinted at a comeback at Wimbledon.

Serena Williams hinted at her comeback on a show with Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. Serena has been on the sidelines since last year’s Wimbledon after suffering a hamstring injury in her tournament opener.
