The 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, dropped some massive news regarding her retirement earlier this week. She will play her last tournament at the US Open later this month. Earlier, she announced the news in Vogue magazine, which garnered plenty of reactions from fans on social media.

Meanwhile, she recently appeared in an interview with Vogue where she opened up about some of the pictures of hers, taken for the magazine. In one of the pictures, we saw Serena holding her baby daughter Olympia, as she talked about her experience shooting with Olympia for the very first time.

“This was Olympia’s first Vogue cover cause it was very important for us… for me… for her to have a Vogue cover. At that point, Olympia was so small and people were like, trying to get her to look at the camera. So, I think her eye line isn’t exactly to the camera. It’s a little bit sideways but we were happy with that and we took it, cause we were like, this is a big win for us,” Serena revealed.

Notably, Olympia is about to be five years old, as she has become much more popular on social media. Moreover, she appeared on the latest cover of Vogue as well, along with her mother Serena.

Olympia to become a big sister soon?

In her essay, Serena wrote about having another child, as Olympia wanted to become a big sister. Interestingly, she doesn’t want a brother. Notably, this was one of the major reasons Serena is taking such a big decision regarding her retirement.

Meanwhile, Serena Williams recently lost in the round of 32 at the National Bank Open, and teared-up while saying goodbye to the Toronto crowd. Serena will play at the Cincinnati Open next, which will be the last tournament before she plays at the US Open 2022.
