‘Trying to Keep Everything Squeezed In’ – Venus Williams Reveals Hilarious Details About Preparing for the Met Gala 2022

Tennis star player Venus Williams attended Met Gala 2022 in a beautiful black dress designed by Chloe. Venus was there to mark her presence to support the film “King Richard,” based on her father and coach, Richard Williams. When reporters asked how she got ready for the Met Gala and how different it was from getting ready for a tennis match, her reply left everyone laughing.

In reply, Venus smiled and said she had a light breakfast before Met compared to match days. She elaborates: when she is playing a match, life is completely different for her.

“I think there’s less breakfast when you’re at the Met because you’re trying to keep everything squeezed in. But I’m eating pasta at 8 a.m. if I’m playing a match. It’s like a whole other life.” She said.

Further, when the reporters asked about her beautifully braided hair, she said she was not a hair expert and was glad someone else took care of it.

The film King Richard earned six nominations, including Best Picture, as well as the Best Actor for Will Smith’s performance in the title role.

Venus Williams has been away from the tennis court since 2021. She suffered a leg injury and is yet to make a comeback. Although she has refuted all the talks about her retirement and hinted at returning to the game.

Recently, in an Instagram question-answer session, one of her fans asked about her return to tennis at Wimbledon this year. She replied to the query by saying, “I never like to miss Wimbledon.” Her sister, tennis star Serena Williams recently announced her return as well.
