Osaka’s duality and ability to switch modes effortlessly have impressed many, including Tyra Banks. Banks recently, while interviewing the Japanese tennis ace, spoke about how her character reminded her of someone.
Naomi Osaka is just like Beyonce
Amidst the talks of Osaka’s tennis and family, Banks pointed out how she resembles the famous singer and songwriter Beyonce. She said, “She (Beyonce) would be like very like kind of soft-spoken and you know just this beautiful kind of reserved personality and then she gets out on the stage and turns into Sasha Fierce and all of that.”
Sasha Fierce, according to the singer, is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, and more outspoken self of her which comes out when she is on the stage performing.

Thereafter she compared, “So when I look at you and see you like do your interview and then you get on the court and that post-interview. It’s Shasha Fierce. It is Naomi fierce. It’s good strategy.”

Tyra Banks is an American television personality, writer, and model. Also, like Osaka, is a businesswoman. In 2011 she launched her website typeF.com and runs her beauty brand Tyra Beauty.
What is Osaka up to these days?
After making a final run in the Miami Open, she gave a consecutive subpar performance in the Master events of clay. The four times grand slam champion at first faced a second-round exit in the Madrid Open and then skipped the Italian Open, where she was supposed to avenge her Madrid open defeat against the Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo because of an injury.
