Spending time with one’s grandparents is something that almost everyone cherishes. That was the case with the Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard. Bouchard recently shared a number of stories on her Instagram account, which showed how she enjoyed her day out with her grandmother.

Bouchard, with the highest rank of 5, was out of the WTA Tour for a while. She suffered a shoulder injury in 2021, which took quite a few months to recover. She eventually returned to court in August 2022. However, she is still struggling with her form and hasn’t gone far in any tournament.

On her Instagram story, Bouchard showed her day panned out to her followers. She went to various places with her grandmother, before ending it with a video of her granny styling her hair. First, both went to the University of Miami, where Bouchard praised the tennis team of Miami. Then she uploaded a picture of her grandmother on the basketball court, joking that their basketball team have found their new recruit.

Bouchard uploaded a video next. The video showed her grandmother styling her hair into a French braid. At first, she showed her hair being moved and then her grandmother standing behind her. She captioned the story “When grandma does your French braid to go out🥹“. She also posted a picture of the same in her next story.

Genie Bouchard celebrated her birthday on 19th February. To not leave her followers out of the spectacular night, she shared pictures and videos of the party on her Instagram stories. The birthday party was a surprise, planned in advance by her friends. The Canadian had a big smile when the birthday dessert was placed in front of her. Additionally, her friends were singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.

Bouchard was almost teary-eyed, as she was surprised by the gesture of her friends. Genie is certainly a party animal as she shared another night on her Instagram. She was out partying with her friends, donned in a pink dress.

Although Bouchard is enjoying her personal life, her professional life seems to be slipping. From world number 5 to world number 317, Bouchared’s tennis career seems uncertain. Will she reach the top anytime soon?
