

Serena Williams is showing no signs of slowing down. The 41-year-old tennis legend turned businesswoman headed to Germany for a business event after attending the Miami Grand Prix. It proved to be a hectic 24 hours in Germany for Williams, who is currently pregnant with her second child. Following her appearance at the business event, the 23-time Grand Slam champion decided to unwind with some good old rock and roll.
Williams, who has a staggering net worth of $250 million owing to her tennis earnings and business ventures, revealed the legendary band she was listening to via an Instagram post. In 2022, she also attended a concert for the same band after an embarrassing exit at Wimbledon.

Serena Williams reveals her love for old-school rock and roll
On the tennis court, Serena Williams had the personality of a rockstar; full of energy, expression, and emotion. Turns out that she’s quite a listener of rock and roll music as well, which seems to have contributed to her personality. In an Instagram story post, Williams shared an image of the vinyl print of the album she was listening to after her Germany business trip came to its conclusion.

It was the legendary “Sticky Fingers” album from the iconic British rock band The Rolling Stones. Featuring classics like “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” and “Wild Horses,” it became one of the band’s most critically and commercially successful albums.
The success achieved by the album led it to be inducted in the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, a list compiled by Rolling Stones magazine. While the album is full of rock and roll masterpieces, the song ‘Brown Sugar’ is a big fan favorite.
Williams has frequently expressed her love for the rock legends. So much so, that in 2022, after her Wimbledon exit, she decided to unwind by attending the band’s concert.

In 2022, Serena made her comeback on the Grand Slam stage at the Wimbledon Championships. Her return to tennis’ most prestigious event, however, turned out to be a disappointment. She exited the tournament in the first round after French player Harmony Tan defeated Williams following a grueling three-hour contest.

Serena didn’t let her first-round exit upset her too much. Along with her husband Alexis Ohanian, Williams attended a concert headlined by none other than The Rolling Stones. Ohanian even took to social media to upload a snippet of his experience of the Hyde Park concert.
