Two-Time Figure Skater World Champion Wishes To Trade Bodies With Serena Williams

Twenty-three-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams is one of the greatest assets to the women’s game. The American star has been entertaining fans for over two decades. During this spell, there have been a number of great players who have begun their careers after Williams’ arrival and retired. 

 The American athlete continues to remain at the top of her game despite entering a special chapter in her life, motherhood. During her journey as a player, Serena Williams has had an influence on a number of individuals, across various sporting fields and entertainment.

Nathan Chen: “Never knew Serena Williams was a fan of mine”

One such interesting athlete is the 2018 Winter Olympic Bronze medalist, Nathan Chen who wished he could swap bodies with Serena. The 21-year-old stated, “There are too many sports icons you know like too many good options. Like Serena Williams that’d be pretty cool. I didn’t know at all she was a fan of mine. That’s like a very welcoming surprise that was really cool. I was very star-struck when she tagged me.”

Nathan is an American professional figure skater. He has won the World Championships for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019. Besides, he’s a three-time Grand Prix Final champion and a five-time US National Champion. Chen has achieved a considerable amount of success at a young age and promises to do wonders in the future.

Coming back to tennis, Williams last competed at the Australian Open 2021. She made an exit in the semifinal after losing to eventual champion, Naomi Osaka. During her route, she beat a talented player in Aryna Sabalenka and two-time Grand Slam winner Simona Halep

Recently, the 39-year-old player was seen practicing with 2014 Wimbledon semifinalist Grigor Dimitrov. Later, the two athletes posted a picture of their practice session on social media.
