It is normal to attract huge deals and sponsorships that lavish money when one performs exceedingly well in sports. Tennis, being an affluent sport, offers even richer possibilities. This is precisely what has happened to world no.1 Iga Swiatek of Poland. After her successful title defense in Stuttgart, she got awarded a Porsche car for the second time in a row. It comes as no surprise that every year the tournament winner is offered a Porsche car as per its titular name. The tournament is also referred to as Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

Swiatek wrote on Instagram that she is joining #teamPorsche in Poland while cheekily adding that it doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t return to take home a Porsche car the next year as well. Swiatek won the tournament this year by beating Australian Open Champion and world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka 6-3,6-4 in the final.
