Recently, Serena and Alexis attended the 2022 Academy Awards. The two participated in the ceremony as a part of the team ‘King Richard’. While Alexis wore a black suit with a bow, Serena opted for a rose-colored Gucci gown. Walking the red carpet of the 2022 Oscars, the two left no stone unturned to pose for the cameras.

Alexis Ohanian shares a candid click with Serena

Almost a week after the Oscars, today, 2nd April, Alexis Ohanian took to his Instagram, uploading a post. The post was a black and white photo of the two posing for a candid click. The photo was primarily directed toward photographer Shayan Asgharnia, who clicked the photo. Apparently, he was also the photographer who shot Alexis Ohanian’s first magazine cover.

Uploading the post, Ohanian wrote, “The guy who shot my first magazine cover all those years ago happened to be shooting Oscars. Thanks Shayan Asgharnia.”

Williams, known to express her love for her husband Alexis Ohanian over social media, didn’t shy away this time too. The 23-time Grand Slam champion went all heart for her husband, calling him cute. Keeping it simple, she wrote, “U are So cute.”

Serena Williams on the Tour

Serena Williams last played on the Tour at the 2021 Wimbledon. She opened her campaign with an opening round clash against Belarusian player Aliaksandra Sasnovich. 3-3 in the first set, the 7-time champion slipped on the court, suffering a hamstring injury. The injury not only forced Serena to withdraw from the tournament but also from the remaining season. 

Fans around the world speculated about her hay and healthy return to the tour at the 2022 Australian Open. However, on 8th December 2021, the 40-year announced her withdrawal from the opening slam of the year. She took the decision following the advice from her medical team. Nine months have passed; however, the whole world is still waiting for the return of the champion on court.
