The way the third-ranked tennis player is creating waves on the tennis circuit, she has started to create her own fanbase. Recently, tennis Australia’s CEO, in an interview with We Are Tennis, talked about how her achievements and her gameplay on the tennis court can benefit the sport in the bigger picture. Along with that, he also talked about how the game is lucky to have a player like her who can be trusted in the future.

He said, “We came through an era of having great champions, American champions.  We have the U.S. players reaching the highest levels of the game. That’s why Coco Gauff is going to be so great for the sport. It is the commercial engine of the sport globally. So, I think that’s great for the sport, having more of that. I do see some light at the end of the tunnel with that.”

While that was not it, he not only addressed the 19-year-old as a good asset for the sport. He also tagged her as the ‘commercial engine’. In addition, Tiley also showed confidence in her, saying that the teenage sensation has the capability to take the sport to great heights globally.
