Prince Harry and Meghan Markle created Archewell Productions in 2020, mainly for storytelling purposes. ‘Programming that informs, elevates, and inspires‘, was the initial motive of the company. Over the years, the company has engaged in several partnerships, including one with Netflix. The couple has now taken another giant step into growing the business.
According to Forbes, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have purchased the rights to the bestselling novel Meet Me at the Lake via Archewell Productions. They also intend to collaborate with Netflix in order to bring the story to the public. This would be a massive deal for the couple. The story is bound to attract a good audience after the success of their docuseries.

When Archewell Productions suffered a $20 million blow
The Archewell Productions had signed a $20 million deal with Spotify during their initial few months. However, the deal was not sustainable as the Spotify podcast show saw an underwhelming end. The podcast drew many listeners in its opening episode owing to Serena Williams’ presence. The former World No.1 agreed to sit down with her friend for a brief show where they discussed the difficulties Serena faced as a tennis player and as a mother.
