Former American tennis star Martina Navratilova has taken another jab at Elon Musk. This time, she has targeted Musk’s electric car company, Tesla. Recently, there was a sharp dip in Tesla share prices, and the former world number one was quick to react to the news. The 59-time Grand Slam champion has always harshly criticized Tesla founder Elon Musk.
Be it his business policies or his tweets, Navratilova has often shown her dissent. In the past few months, she has constantly called out Musk for his highly controversial changes to the popular microblogging site, Twitter.

Martina Navratilova takes a dig at Elon Musk
Elon Musk is in the headlines after taking over Twitter. He made a slurry of changes and got people’s ire on social media. The main reason for the hate he received was because of the changes he made in the key positions of the company, along with the policy changes.
N0w, the negative impact of his Twitter adventure has also impacted his firm, Tesla. With all that negativity in the market regarding Musk, the share prices of his car company took a sharp dip. While people were busy making fun of this, Navratilova targeted Musk for putting people’s money at risk.

“It’s all fun and games until someone loses $25 billion in one day…” Navratilova wrote.
Apart from Navratilova, various other popular celebrities have called out Musk for his moves on Twitter. Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, who has an experience of running a similar website Reddit, also raised red flags at Musk’s policies, especially his subscription plan for the verification mark.

A tweet from Musk that offended everyone
The rapid share price fall was also impacted by a recent Twitter post from Musk. The Tesla founder came up with a “Pronouns” joke, which was viewed as a jibe at the LGBTQ+ community as well as the government.

While the prices of Tesla shares saw a sharp decrease, people are also calling for a boycott on Twitter. Tesla shares went down because many customers withdrew their orders for Tesla cars after the recent developments. Navratilova in another tweet called out Musk for enraging off his customer base.
