Coco Gauff celebrates Simone Biles in a simple manner

Simone Biles recently created history in her sport. She became the most decorated gymnast, with 34 medals to her name. She has won more medals across the Olympics and World Championships than any other individual in sports history. Biles has moved to the top of the list with this new accomplishment, and the world is celebrating her achievement. 

As the world congratulated her left and right, how could one of her biggest fans stay behind? Gauff also lauded her news on the post shared by ESPN for her. But the US Open champion did not need to write a long paragraph for the 26-year-old gymnast.

The WTA number 3 only shared an emoji, “🐐”, which signifies Biles as the greatest to ever play the sport.

Gauff looks up to the decorated gymnast and celebrates in her lauded Biles; their admiration for each other goes both ways. When Gauff was a newbie, Biles was the one cheering her on for awards.

Simone Biles chooses Gauff over herself

In 2019, Gauff was a new face on the WTA Tour and made quite the name for herself after defeating Venus Williams. For her efforts, she was nominated for The Game Changer award, which also nominated Simone Biles. After the nominees went live, Biles openly stated her support for Gauff. She wrote, “If @CocoGauff doesn’t win this we riot“.

Biles eventually won the award but supported Gauff till the end. The two athletes might not have met each other, but they support each other whenever possible. As Biles rises to the top of her sport, Gauff is quick to call her the greatest. Biles is likely to replicate the gesture if Gauff rises in a similar manner.
