It is rightfully said that Richard Williams, the father of tennis legends Serena and Venus Williams has a heart of gold. He sacrificed almost everything and only had one dream, to make his daughters the best players in the world. His dedication eventually paid off and he played a monumental role in developing two of the finest names in tennis. After having stepped down from the coaching role years ago, it seems like you could not take the tennis out of him. He recently garnered praise from his friend and childhood coach of his daughters.

Interestingly, ‘King’ Williams dedicated all his life to coaching his daughters, who turned out to be two of the best players in the world. Recently, Rick Macci took to Twitter and shared news revolving around ‘King’ Williams. He said that he received a call from him stating that he would be requiring some tennis rackets for underprivileged kids.
Rick further revealed that this is the main reason why he loves Richard while also mentioning that he has a ‘heart of gold’. Interestingly, both Rick and Richard have worked with each other before as well. When Rick was Serena’s head coach, he was often seen with Richard Williams seeking advice and sharing information.
