Venus and Serena Williams have earned a huge name in tennis over the last two decades. Apart from winning numerous titles, they have also won hearts throughout their careers and continue to serve as ambassadors of the sport. However, the duo owe a large part of their success to their father, Richard Williams.

In order to recognize the contribution of the father, HBO is coming up with a movie- ‘King Richard’- based on the life of Richard Williams in which renowned Hollywood star Will Smith is playing his role. Interestingly, both the Williams’ sister recently launched the second trailer of the film.

“So excited for you to watch the new trailer”- Serena Williams

Serena was one of the first people to share the new trailer through her Twitter handle. She wrote that she is feeling exhilarated and wants all her fans to watch it.

“I’m so excited for you to watch the new trailer for KingRichard starring Will Smith and featuring the song “Be Alive” by Beyonce. It’s in theaters and streaming exclusively on HBOMax November 19,” tweeted Serena.

Surprisingly, both Venus and Serena can be seen standing next to Will Smith in the video before the trailer begins. Smith introduced the Williams sisters as his friends.

“Don’t miss out on it,” said the 23-time Grand Slam winner while referring to the trailer in the video. The elder sister followed Serena’s lead and added, “What she said“.

When is King Richard hitting the box office?

The movie will get released on November 19, 2021, across the world. Interestingly, it also has a song by famous Pop-star Beyonce- namely ‘Be Alive’.

The premier of King Richard has already taken place and some fans who watched it gave brilliant reviews. While some found it extremely inspirational, for others it was nothing less than a goosebumps moment.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the biopic. Like the characters in the film, Venus and Serena, fans are hopeful that the movie itself will be record-breaking.
