Venus Williams talks about playing with Serena again

Even though Venus Williams has not played professionally in a while, she has been busy with her other business ventures. One of them is her own clothing line, titled Eleven by Venus, which has its own Instagram page.

The Instagram page for Eleven by Venus recently presented fans with an avenue for interaction with Venus Williams herself. Through an ‘Ask-Me-Anything’ tag on their stories, they opened the floor for fans to ask questions to Venus directly.

Immediately, fan questions came flowing in from all ends. One fan asked her about her relationship status with Reilly Opelka. Another fan asked about Venus’ ideas on something as absurd as time travel!

However, one fan has a question regarding Venus’ tennis career, especially that alongside her sister Serena Williams. They asked, “Do you honestly think we will see some more sister doubles play from you and Serena?”

After that, Venus Williams responded by posting a picture of herself and her sister. Alongside the image was her reply- “@SerenaWilliams and I just talked about how grateful we were to get to play together. It’s our favorite thing to do.” Additionally, she also tagged her sister on the post.

Venus remains vague on doubles hopes with Serena

The Williams sisters together have won a whopping 14 Grand Slam doubles titles. Moreover, they also have three doubles Gold Medals at the Olympics!

Thus, it is understandable that the world wants to see the superhero duo of the Williams sisters return to the court together. However, Venus has given quite the vaguely diplomatic answer, talking instead about how she is grateful to have played with her sister.

It only remains to be seen whether or not we will see Serena and Venus grace the slopes again, on the same side of the net.
