Eugenie Bouchard surprised one and all in the aftermath of the Super Bowl in 2017. The Canadian tennis star had placed a bet with a Twitter fan. Bouchard had predicted a win for Atlanta Falcons. On the other hand, the fan asked her on Twitter, “if patriots win we go on a date?”

The New England Patriots went on to win the Super Bowl 34-28 against Atlanta Falcons. To the fan’s delight, Bouchard took him on a date. Subsequently, they went on several dates, including an NBA game in New York and the 2018 NFL Super Bowl.

Recently, Bouchard revealed whether she would like to try a date with a fan again.

During a talk show, the host asked Bouchard about her dating experience with the fan and whether she would like to do it again. She said, “Well first of all with John it was multiple dates and you know what, I am very single and very ready to mingle. So yes, let’s meet hubs (a fan).” Further, she went on to say, “I would love a classy guy.”

Bouchard has a strong following on social media. Moreover, she regularly shares her training session videos on platforms like Instagram. However, the Canadian, later revealed that her public disclosure of the dating with a fan impacted her relationship with John.

On the tennis front, Bouchard last featured in March, last year. Subsequently, she suffered a shoulder injury which has kept her away from tennis since. In June, the former Wimbledon finalist underwent surgery for a tear in her right shoulder. That ruled Bouchard out for the remainder of last season.

Further, she has had a lengthy rehabilitation process that has seen her miss the Australian Open and other big tournaments this year. Recently, she played an exhibition set ahead of her potential comeback to tennis. The Canadian remains hopeful of playing in the French Open this year.
