With the successful completion of the French Open 2021, it’s now time for the grass-court season. Players seem excited about it and most have even begun training hard. The WTA 500 Berlin 2021 will begin today and fans will see the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Victoria Azarenka, and many more in action on the grass.

The Wimbledon Championships 2021 are two weeks away. Before that, there are a number of tournaments for both ATP and WTA players. Interestingly, the Halle Open and the WTA Berlin 2021 are both starting today.

In an exciting doubles match at the Grass Court Championships, Berlin, Victoria Azarenka will team up with Aryna Sabalenka. The pair will face Karolina Muchova and Karolina Pliskova in the first round of the tournament today. The doubles match will also help both the pairs to practice together ahead of the Tokyo Olympics 2021.

This will be great preparation for both the Belarusians and for the Czechs on grass. After a poor show at the French Open 2021, Sabalenka, Azarenka, and Pliskova will want to improve their gameplay and come back strong at Wimbledon 2021.

She is currently the World No. 4 player and has won the Mutua Madrid Open 2021 title. In addition, the Belarusian player was also the runner-up at the WTA Stuttgart Open 2021, losing to Ashleigh Barty in the finals.

On the other hand, Victoria Azarenka hasn’t been up to the mark this season. However, she found some momentum lately as she managed to enter the pre-quarters at Roland Garros 2021 after a gap of eight years. Before that, she managed to reach the semi-finals of the Qatar Open 2021 and lost in the pre-quarters of the Miami Open 2021.
