Earlier this year, the 23-time Grand Slam champion announced her retirement from tennis and addressed focusing on her family and her business ventures as the main reason behind her decision. The recently concluded US Open was the last tournament of her professional career. 

Serena after dominating the tennis world has now stepped into the fashion industry. She owns a clothing brand named S by Serena. Recently, the former world number one unveiled her latest collection, where she revealed a casual fashion conversation with her daughter.

Serena Williams makes daughter Olympia blush

At an event, while Serena launched her new collection, she talked about the time Olympia’s advice about fashion choices helped her make the right choice. In the video, Olympia was seen hiding her face as her mother recalled a small anecdote about Olympia helping her make fashion decisions. 

Williams described a delightful interaction that took place between the two of them while she crafted her clothing line. She said, “Sometimes I’ll say ‘Which color do you like better? Which dress do you like better?’ and she’ll say ‘That one!’ I’m not sure if she’s just pointing at one to play games after that or if she’s serious.” She credits her five-year-old daughter in choosing some of her unique styles and creations.

At the event, Serena was wearing a light-shade dress with her hair down. With this clothing brand, Serena wants to create comfortable and colorful clothing for everyone. 

Serena’s US Open inspired outfit 

Serena Williams’ tennis achievements and her fashion sense on the court are unmatchable. The legendary American played her last US Open earlier this month and her fashion sense at the tournament made a strong statement. In the first round, she wore a custom-made dress, which she created with Nike. The costume had a mesh detailed black frock and a pleated skirt. Her outfit was a tribute to her past six US Open victories.
