The talk of the tennis fraternity is currently the Indian Wells Masters. Over the past ten days, the fans at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden have been treated with some enthralling encounters.

As we are at the business end of the event, the women’s semifinals saw some prominent personalities attending the matches. One of the world’s most influential personalities was spotted attending the matches and it was none other than Bill Gates.

Interestingly, he was spotted yet again with Hollywood actress Elisabeth Shue. They have been spotted attending various matches over the recent months. They were seen at the US Open last year and were again spotted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Intense matches at the Indian Wells Masters 2022 

Yesterday, matches between Iga Swiatek and Simona Halep were keenly watched by the two notable personalities. In the other semifinal, it was Paula Badosa who took on Maria Sakkari.

Coming to tennis, Sakkari and Badosa played a thrilling three-setter. The match went the distance and eventually, it was the Greek star who prevailed, thus booking a spot in the final.

In the other match, Swiatek continued her brilliant form, getting better of Simona in straight sets. In the final, Sakkari will take on Swiatek which promises to be yet another epic encounter.

Over the years, Gates has always displayed his affinity for tennis. He takes time out of his busy schedule to attend the matches played in the US.

He also competed in an exhibition match along with Swiss maestro Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Trevor Noah. They played this exhibition match in South Africa. Federer partnered along with Gates against Nadal and Noah. The event was highly successful, managing to raise funds for humanity.
