Camila Giorgi’s sudden reaction shocks fans
While Giorgi managed to win the first set on a tie-break, Kanepi came back strong to win the second set in a similar fashion. The match was evenly poised as it progressed into the third set. Giorgi, who was visibly frustrated after the second set, suddenly threw her racket on the court in a moment of frustration after over hitting a forehand.
Such a reaction was totally unexpected from her, as she is known for her calm demeanor on the court. The Tennis Letter tweeted about Giorgi’s racket-throwing moment on Twitter with the caption, “When Camila Giorgi throws her racquet, you know a match is getting spicy.”
