Eugenie Bouchard is back on the court after a long hiatus. The Canadian player was on an injury-break for more than a year. As a part of her comeback to the professional tour, she is taking part in the Chennai Open WTA tournament in Chennai, India right now. The player rocked a beautiful green Indian saree and did a ramp walk at an event prior to the tournament.

After her long hiatus, it is good to see the player back on the court and her fans are wishing to see her perform well on the court.

Eugenie Bouchard rocks a green saree at the WTA Chennai Open 

The Canadian player has always been a fashionista and when she got the chance to adorn a beautiful saree at the event, she took it. After having a grinding session of training on the court, Bouchard looked stunning with a green sari and a shimmery blouse. She took to her Instagram account and shared a story of her friend and fellow tennis player Carol Zhou wearing a blue saree.

She hyped her up with full enthusiasm. In the next one, she took a video of herself where she showed her enthusiasm by saying, “This is so exciting!” She also uploaded a mirror selfie where she looked stunning, draping the saree and a silver bindi (a decorative mark worn in the middle of forehead by Indian women).

The Croatian player Jana Fett took a video of Bouchard doing a ramp walk and uploaded it on her Instagram story. Bouchard also shared it in her story with a caption, “Why am I like this lol.” Genie dropped all hesitation and walked with confidence, hyping up the audience.

Bouchard is back on the court 

The player had earlier decided to make a comeback at the grass-court major. However, Wimbledon got stripped off of its ranking points and Bouchard decided to stay out of it to safeguard her protected ranking. After that, at the US Open too, she could not qualify for the tour. Nonetheless, that did not dampen the spirit of the former Wimbledon finalist.
