Iga Swiatek is on cloud nine! Following her sensational triumph at the Miami Masters, the Pole became just the fourth woman to win the ‘Sunshine Double’. In the process, she improved her winning run to 17 straight victories, winning three back-to-back Masters 1000 titles. Her rise to the top spot in the WTA rankings was like icing on the cake for the Pole after Ashleigh Barty chose to remove herself from the rankings. However, it is not just about winning for the Pole as she had fun along with the grind. Swiatek shared a video on Twitter where she is having a delicious pizza while biking at the gym.

Iga Swiatek enjoys extra calories
Iga Swiatek has become World No. 1 by her resilience and hard work. Following her victory in the Sunshine State, she took to Twitter to upload a video with the caption, “When you were eating healthy food every day for over a month”.

ESPN Tennis also shared an Instagram reel with the caption, “Who wants a trophy? I want pizza!” She was biking when someone brought her a pizza. She delightedly exclaimed, “Pizza”! This was a much-deserved pizza for the 20-year-old after how well she has performed in recent times.

Swiatek on fire so far in 2022
Iga Swiatek has been in incredible form so far in 2022. She began the year ranked 9th on the WTA rankings. Former world no. 1 Ashleigh Barty announced her retirement almost a fortnight ago following which she decided to withdraw her name from the WTA rankings. Along with that, Iga Swiatek kept performing her best game and rightfully replaced the Australian to claim the top spot.

The 20-year-old stormed her way towards the title, defeating Naomi Osaka in straight sets 6-4, 6-0 in the final at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Moreover, she became the first female player to win three Master 1000 titles in a year and the fourth woman to achieve the ‘Sunshine Double’.
