Tennis has always been a sport that failed to attract too many celebrities to follow the sport. However, a handful of stars ensure that they are coming to the stadiums to witness championship matches at Grand Slams, at-least. One such actor who has always been a tennis admirer is Russell Crowe. Hailing from Australia, Crowe has a history of attending final matches at Rod Laver Arena and on Sunday’s match between Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka, the veteran actor decided to attend the match with his British girlfriend, Britney Theriot.

From few clips that were released during the match, it was evident that Crowe was engaged in the tight battle between Sabalenka and Rybakina. As Rybakina easily managed to clinch the first set, her game faltered in the second as she failed to remain consistent on her serve. Taking this as an advantage, Sabalenka, who entered the match as a favorite, dictated few rallies and forced a deciding third set.
