American tennis star Serena Williams is soon going to make a comeback to the tour. The 40-year-old will play in the National Bank Open Canada and the Cincinnati masters tournament later.

While the next month is full of action, Serena took out some time to attend a weekend concert.

Just before the start of a busy tennis session, Serena Williams is having some fun. The 40-year-old was present at a weeknd concert, yesterday. The video of a tennis star enjoying the concert went viral on social media. In the video, we can see Serena dancing and jumping to the beats.

Later, the 40-year-old took to her Instagram account to share a story from the concert.

Notably, the former world number 1 was away from court for a long time. She made a surprising entry to the Wimbledon Championship 2022. However, her campaign ended very early as she lost to Harmony Tan of France in the first-round match.

In an exclusive chat with EssentiallySports, the former World number 18 Vijay Amritraj spoke about the chances for the 40-year-old in the upcoming American swing. After a disappointing end to her Wimbledon comeback, the Indian believes that the success of Serena depends on two factors: match practice and physical fitness.

Further, he added that the mental aspect plays. a crucial role as well. However, the Indian still believes that since it is Serena Williams, one can not bet against her.

Unlike Wimbledon, Serena has planned to go better prepared for the US Open. With the match practice from two tournaments going into the US Open, she is expected to have a longer run in the tournament.

Notably, the American has 23 Grand Slam titles to her name. She is only second behind Margaret Court in the list of most Grand Slam titles. Serena needs one more title to equal the record. Although, luck has not favored the former world number 1 in the past few years. Serena has failed to win any Grand Slam title in the last five years. Her last major victory was back in the 2017 Australian Open.
