Over the recent years, Serena Williams has grown synonymous with American tennis. The face of the game, the former World No. 1 has graced the sport with brilliance for over 25 years now. Notably, during her illustrious career, she has won several laurels and titles.

The tennis icon has won 23 Grand Slam titles. Hence, she is just a major title away from equaling Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slam singles titles. Not to mention, she has been immensely successful in women’s doubles too.

Serena has partnered with her sister, Venus Williams, to win an astonishing 14 Grand Slam titles in doubles. They also have three Olympic gold medals to their credit.

Recently, Beats by Dre released their new commercial starring the younger Williams sister. The commercial cites her example to convey that LA favors the bold.

Further, the synopsis of the advertisement goes by, “What do you see? Do you see a kid from Compton? I see a bright future. I see a city where anything can happen. Where legacies are built. LA is special. The star power. The ideas. The energy. Opportunity in this city can still be a million miles away, but that never stopped us. Because we bet on ourselves. We bet on each other.
