It was a disappointing end to a memorable tournament for Coco Gauff. The American tennis sensation reached the finals of both the singles as well as the women’s doubles. However, she finished as runners-up in both events. In singles, she lost against World Number 1, Iga Swiatek, in the summit clash in straight sets. Further, in the doubles competition, the French pair of Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic defeated Gauff and Jessica Pegula in a thrilling final.
